On Wednesday December 3, at 21:49 UTC (Epoch # 411392), the Ethereum consensus protocol will undergo an uncontentious hard fork upgrade.
There is risk for network instability during such an upgrade, so we believe the best practice is to temporarily halt OTC settlements for a period of time during this change. We will continue to provide liquidity in Ethereum (ETH), as well as applicable ERC and Ethereum Layer 2 tokens during this period; however, we ask that you refrain from sending ETH, any other ERC tokens or any Ethereum Layer 2 tokens to Cumberland's wallet(s) for the period beginning at 19:49 UTC on Wednesday December 3 and ending at 23:49 UTC on Wednesday December 3, as it is possible we may not receive assets sent during this period of transition. ETH, ERC tokens and Ethereum Layer 2 tokens sent by a counterparty during this period may not be received by Cumberland, and in that case will not be credited toward the counterparty's settlement obligations to Cumberland.
